Dr. Patricia Taladriz-Blanco earned her PhD from the University of Vigo, Spain, in 2012. Her research spans nanoparticle fabrication, analytics, and microfluidics. As a Group Leader, she applies her expertise in plasmonic nanoparticles and analytics to develop advanced SERS substrates for nanoplastic detection. Her work also includes fabricating test nanoplastic materials, analyzing their behavior in complex environments, assessing potential toxicity, and investigating the release and transformations of nanoplastics from larger plastics.
