In this talk, Dr. Demirörs will tell two independent stories. One is about 3D printing structural color based on the assembly of colloids and digital light printing, which is an easy-to-reproduce and high-resolution technique. the other is about millimetric soft magnetic robots and how one can use minimalist tools such as laser cutting and a rotating magnetic field to induce and control motion.
