The physicochemical properties of nanoparticles and experimental methodology of exposure influences cellular assays. The cellular response is dosage dependent and knowledge of accurate dosing and metrics is required. Nanoparticle dosimetry and computational particokinetic models become essential in in vitro nanoparticle toxicology assays and our aim is to develop and deploy the concept of particokinetics for a wide range of particle systems, including nanoparticles from both industrial production lines and academic laboratories. For this, we use the combination of mathematical modelling, instrumental analytics and experimentation.
