The aim of this project is to establish the VOC emission biomarker database of human lung tissues under culture and particle-induced inflammatory conditions and explore the relationships between cellular VOC production and biological responses in cells induced by particles. This project collaborates with the Jonathan Williams group from the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry.
