Museum Night 2018Published on 01.05.2018

Come and celebrate our 10th anniversary!

Come to the Adolphe Merkle Institute for Fribourg’s Museum Night on Saturday, May 26, and celebrate our 10th anniversary. We are joining forces with the city’s main attractions, including our neighbors at the Botanical Gardens and the Natural History Museum, and opening our doors between 18:00 and midnight to the public.

The theme for the evening is Time. The program for the evening at AMI covers nanoscience past, present and future, and includes a fun science Kids’ Corner, fascinating presentations from the Institute’s professors, information stands explaining our many activities, an entertaining Science Slam session, as well as the milestones of nanotechnology so far. Our thirsty visitors can also stop off at the Chemistry Bar to test some original cocktails.

Entry for all the museums costs CHF 10 and includes public transport for the evening. Children and teenagers up to age 16 participate for free.

For more information, please visit the Museum Night website (F/D) or consult our program here.
